Mark Latham

Mark Latham wants us to make a protest vote this Saturday by placing a totally blank ballot in the box.

I can't believe this fool of a man is serious, surely there should be some law that prohibits idiots like him from discouraging people from voting in the right way. If everyone did that, nothing would change. It's almost like treason, some poor fools might follow his advice. This man is a threat to our country and should be chastised for his irresponsible remarks.

I really cant remember the last time I heard Mark Latham say something sensible but I do have to agree that the two main parties in this election really give us no real "point of difference" to allow us to say "A" is better than "B".

To my mind, this election is a classic argument AGAINST compulsory voting....... the only two parties with any chance of winning (and governing the country) are equally useless. Why should we be forced to vote for lying, cheating, back-stabbing incompetents?

Whether we deposit a blank ballot or vote for independents or some obscure political party, we know that after the election, either Labour or the Libs will be governing. My only way of expressing my displeasure is to vote AGAINST both parties. Perhaps if enough of us do this, they will see that the garbage they feed us and the ever restrictive laws and regulations they pass are just no longer acceptable

kfchugo.

Well put, Mark Latham reminded me of when I first saw 'Frankenstein'

as a child, scared hell out of me. Anyone else see the resemblance

to the monster,? minus the neck bolts.

Both parties are lack lustre a step back with tony, unsure with julia.

with tony being so bloody minded over some of the labor policies

which if he was to adopt in principle, like take over hospitals,

clinics away from hospitals and yes a form of excess profit tax

not only on mining but on banks too plus the broadband roll out,

he would romp in.

but by saying he is going to give all that the chop is like going back to the

howard years.

Amazingly Labor put this fool (Latham) forward as their leader and potential PM.

Then put forward Rudd whom his own party knifed, before they dredged up Gillard.

I always assumed once you had three strikes you were OUT (of office) LOL

Lathem is a loose canon--however he did bring up quite a few points that were true--including the Abbott Hassen case and I am also quite over both parties
