Machine, dishwashing cleanser fantastic and cheap.

Great way to save money on dishwashing cleaners while also getting excellent results and better for the environment!

I have bought Finish brand dishwasher cleaner for years until I tried  bicarbonate soda in the powder section, and vinegar in the rinse aid section. These two things together, do a great job of removing scum and build up in the machine and the pipes (works in bathrooms too). I also added a few drops of eucalyptus oil to the bicarbonate of soda to help sterilise everything, and add a nice fragrance. The results were fantastic!! This works better than Finish and the whole machine smells really nice too. What a money saver, both in term of general cleaning, but also in regard to potential breakdowns as it clears clogged pipes too.

Try it a see what you think. Costs cents a wash.

I prefer to do it the d fashioned way Phyl.

Disposable plates cups and cutlery

To be honest Solomon I reckon that probably is an even better way to go lol.

Thanks for that tip Phyl, never thought of it...... what about the glasses, how do they come out?  Will give it a try...... I like the dishwasher for hygiene sake mainly, secondly coz I hate washing and drying dishes, was traumatised by it when I was a kid....
