hi suanne here, i've been missing on the forum for a while .i have been sick .this is why i am writing now, i was diagnosed with congestive heart failure about a month ago. i am 73 and for the past 29 years i have been treated by various doctors for emphysema . i only have this complaint in amild form. all my problems stem from my newly diagnosed heart complaint. i urge everyone who thinks they have emphysema to have a heart ultra sound to make sure your heart is not the problem. while thinking it was emphysema the muscles of my heart were struggling to pump the blood around my body and that's why i was so breathless. other symptoms include. severe pains in the legs for no obvious reason, sudden sweating and high temperature .shaky hands, jaw aches and arm aches ,shoulder aches,nausea,tiredness and lack of energy. i am gradually getting better and it is great to be able to breathe alot better. i still have a way to go but if this letter alerts just one person i will be more than happy.many blessing to you all. ...suanne

[size=3][/size] hi suanne here, thank you to' clay'and 'planb' for your replies. i am feeling much better and able to breathe better now .i have a new dr. who is very thorough and helpful and is someone you can talk to.all i wanted to do was be able to live my life without a struggle .i told God that he made these lungs and this heart and whichever was the problem would you please heal it .well it's not healed but a very good second choice. i'm a keen gardener, knitter and seamstress so i am a busy lady. tomorrow we are having our church fete for which i have made lots of things and potted up cuttings to sell on the stall and i am borrowing my sons' utility truck to transport them to the church.if i don't miss my guess all the ladies at the church will raise their eyebrows when i drive in ...in a ute ha ha lol best love to all ...suanne
