Lawrie Oakes strikes again, and

The supposed electorate-swinging announcements were shoved aside at the Press Club when Lawrie Oakes asked Gillard several questions relating to her welching on an agreement, as soon as Rudd's back was turned, in a bid to gain the leadership at any costs. No wonder her lips remained sealed, or it would expose her for the ruthless power crazy creature she is.

Those Laborites who are so proud of Gillard's work on Fair Work should be made aware that employers are skirting all Gillard's efforts and employing workers as sub-contractors and its been going on for years. There have been dozens of calls to Adelaide talk-back radio this week where hotel and call centre staff etc have been employed as sub-contractors and forced to get an ABN.

Those who have tried reporting this to the Fair Work Office have been told there is a mountain of paperwork to fill in so its all a bit too hard. Besides once the prospective boss gets wind of being reported your job will bite the dust anyway. This pathetic response rather than Fair Work get off their lazy arses and carry out spot checks on organisations where its rife. This is just another Labor scheme thats been introduced without ANY thought given to its operation and regulation. Just like the insulation and BER schemes to name just two? Honestly this mob couldnt organise a bloody chook raffle.

As the radio announcer said Labor cant run a fear campaign on Abbott re-introducing Work Choices while this crap is allowed to fester under Gillard's Fair Work scheme.

"Move forward with Labor"? Yeah right, we should all trust the red-head who has wasted BILLION$ of our money? Not bloody likely.

I suppose this is a result of "compulsory voting" - they need to prepare the electoral roll so that names can be marked off on voting day. Obviously, they would need a fairly early cut-off date to facilitate that.

It might be argued that anyone with the right to vote should be encouraged to do so, but if voting was so important to them, it would not take the calling of an election to remind people to enroll.
