When you think of a fine dining experience, Kentucky Fried Chicken is not what immediately springs to mind.

But more than 20,000 people have put their names on a waiting list to try and nab a spot at a bespoke 11-course degustation incorporating KFC ingredients. The event will be held over three nights at a secret location in Sydney in April

The event is a collaboration between KFC and leading Sydney chef Nelly Robinson.

The event has certainly caught people's attention, even getting a mention from US talk show host Jimmy Fallon.
