Keep Warm in Bed

I don't like any doona which is even slightly heavy. So I've found the best, light, warmest bed covering ever - just unzip your sleeping bag and open it out flat. If you wish, put it into a doona cover. This will make a double-bed size 'doona'.

Its extremely warm and extremely light. If its a very cold night, you can put one, or even two, woollen blankets under it, on top of your top sheet. Flanellette sheets and pillow cover are also soft and warm.

I've found this to be very comfortable.

Lost some hair since then, greyer and older but no wiser.

Thinking thinking. Hard to describe ourselves isn't it.

..

I am 5ft. 4 inches so inbetween the two small ladies and Deanna

a bit taller.

...

Is my life organised? ..... fairly :)

Is our house well run

and efficient? ....... Maybe a lot of the time :)

Am I well groomed? ....... hmm I do try

Not perfect all the time that's for sure.

I was a body bulder in my youth

but those days are long gone so now I just exercise each day to try and stay

as good as I can in retirement....:)

I have dark hair with not a lot of grey at the front (which I get taken away) :red:

and not a bad weight for height because I count calories every day (boring)?

I have always done this so used to it and could not change. Around 60 k's.

IF I ate over 1,800calories each day I would be overweight that's for sure.

..

You all sound wonderful and it would be nice to all meet up.

.....

I would have a barbecue at our place and would love to have you all

come over.

psst those three blokes sound a bit of alright

..

Have a nice Anzac Day evening.

Phyl.

Fwed, WOW

When Is the bbq Phyl, Im coming I will make Devils food cake, and a nice Tiramisu,oh and I will bring the red wine ok. Yes ,those blokes do sound a bit of alright, but we already liked them before we wondered what they looked like, didnt we, Its personality that counts and character in my books every time ,regardless of looks, but Fwed sure comes in a nice package doesnt he,yum!!! wobbly.

Its funny Deanna but I pictured you as tall and slim with enormous energy, an extremly capable person with a lot of patience I bet Seggie has a sweet gentle face and a lovely smile with an attitude to match.I see Phyl as having a very organised life she would be beautifully groomed always, her house would be very well runshe is very efficient and very attractive Our Phyl, anyway thats how I see you all in my mind I see Fwed looking like Robert Mitcham Seth is HumphreyBogart and Zappy as Steve macqueen my imagination is very highly developed you know guys. One thing you all do have in common is a enormous sense of fun,and that is wonderfull.wobbly

Wobbly, you may have noticed I didn't bring looks into my description and there is a gooooood reason for that. :-) .......slim......I'm not sure if you would call me slim, I watch what I eat but if I want something I eat it, everything in moderation is what I say, enormous energy.......I wish I had a lot more, patience........ummmmmmm I never mentioned that either, not sure about that :)

As far as Seggie is concerned I'd go along with you on that description. Our Phyl, well I always thought of her as slim, fit and very organised with a totally tidy house, I do see her bench full of tablets and potions though. :-)

The guys. well I'm not sure about Robert Mitcham, Humphrey Bogart and Steve McQueen though.

As for yourself, my vision of you is of a lovely Italian lady, well groomed and into everything.

Wobbly I have to remind you that the photo is over 40 years old.

Four decades does make a difference - hair recedes and changes colour.

I will see if I can find a more recent pic that will more than likely change your opinion.

Geez fwed, not bad, lost a bit of weight since then fwed, you are fading away to a shadow with all that walking.

Seggie. Oh Fwed, what a dish you were and I am astonished as I bet we all are to learn you are connected by Danish royalty? Twins, well, who would have thought? That was kept quiet. Mrs.Fwed was one lucky lady but if your looks are fading, so is your body. Just stop all that walking, no more exercise, indulge in the most fattening chocolates you can find.

A rotten banana is always rotten regardless wrapped in gold leaf.

...

A gem is always a gem even wrapped in newspaper so

I agree Wobbly it is always what is on the inside that counts so it

is rather a shame we do put such store on looks and not

always attracted to a person so we miss out on ever knowing

some gems.

Deanna Im not quite into everything ................... but am always open to opportunities and adventure , sometimes I actualy scare myself, For example taking a 85 year old lady to Bali with me Is a little scary as She is totally dependant on me as she has never travelled since her trip to aus to live 50 years ago . I just hope I can keep her safe as the mafia will kill me if I lose her . I think maybe I sound more confidant than I actually am but as I never have been one for chickening out , Im going. I actually, believe it or not am quite shy in real life and having someone depending on me gives me the courage to go if that makes sense. I met my husband when I was only 15 married at 18 and we were inseperable,I have never realy mixed with anyone outside of my family and the ladies at Vinnies since my husband died . The Italian ladies have sort of adopted me as I care about their welfare especially when they are old widowed and alone.Every other time I have travelled I have had either my husband or one of my daughters with me, apart from travelling in my motorhome just around Tas but even that is within the safety of the motorhome club , so this is rather scary. It is easy to be cocky on a computer but the test will be when I actualy have to walk the walk. But if all goes well, then theres no reason why I cant keep having adventures Is there? Better than sitting here just waing to die growing old full of regrets for missed opportunities. Wobbly

I have read through this lot and now have a few mental pics In my mind I started out in life with dark auburn hair and green eyes and olive skin,I now have shoulder length white hair , faded green eyes and sallow skin, and to add to that I have shrunk to five foot three and a half inches ,,,I love searching for my long lost ancestors ,some of who were even bigger rogues than I am , I operate on the theory that a house is not a home until you can write I love you in the dust ,I love a bit of fun , don't mind a bit of smut , but draw the line before smut becomes suggestive, I only leave my computer to cook because if I do't eat I won't????and I will die and I ain't ready to go yet

You sound like a great person Taddy with attitude in all the right places, I think you must have been a stunner in your younger days and im glad you are not ready to go yet,so keep eating,NO PHYL not mollasses cake again,How about a nice juicy hamburger for a change.Wobbly
