Hello Jenelle. When you say you've just discovered this medium, do you mean computers, internet or forums? I'm fairly new to all three myself, but I'm learning. As you say, it is rather safe and free.

I have found other forums of both extremes, where moderators get hysterical at the slightest hint of anything controversial and censor the daylights out of any (within reason) criticism, to forums who have posters who resort to abuse of those with a differing opinions because they lack debating skills or even a sense of humour.
