It's getting tough.
You know it's getting really tough when you see a really old man, out with his walker. You know that he's had a stoke, but he's trying to do the best he can. I've seen him for the last couple of weeks, as I drove past in my car, just putting one step in front of the other - he's improved over the weeks. But, this mornining, I saw that he had something extra on his walker - a milk crate, filled with those letter box stuffers. He had got a job, albeit it, a fairly poor paying one, but he was using his "walking time/exercise", to earn what most kids would turn their noses up about.
He's an example to us all.
Great man, great effort.
I applaud him.
Kudos to the dear man, Bev.
My B-i-L was exactly the same. He was delivering junk mail until about 6 months before he passed.
And when at home, he worked in his vegetable garden, and plus, he had canaries in a big backyard aviary, which he entered into many contests.....and...won many prizes.
