Is this kid a future champ

from today's ABC

"As a 10-year-old, turning up to a seniors cricket match and ripping through the opposition's batting order in a few overs is the stuff of dreams.

But that is exactly what young leg spinner Thomas Wrigglesworth did at the weekend for Sale cricket club in Victoria's east, with figures of five wickets for nine runs off just eight overs.

He also bowled three maidens in the spell.

What makes the 10-year-old's bowling figures even more impressive, is that it was his first game as a bowler.

"I was a [wicket] keeper but now my brother taught me how to bowl leg spin, so I tried that for one game and it worked," Thomas told 774 ABC Melbourne."

Don't play cricket any more, but sure would like him on my team if I did. What a talented lad!

True Banjo and it would be interesting to see how this kid develops as he gets older.
