What is it with people having to be on their phones all day?  I don't get it. You can sit in a train or

waiting to be served in a shop and people are on their phones.

So sad the entire world is now restricted by COVID-19 in one way or another.

Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam, center, and other officials attend the flag raising ceremony for the celebration of China's National Day at the Golden Bauhinia Square, in Hong Kong.

Police halted a four-person pro-democracy protest on China’s National Day Friday amid an expanding crackdown on free speech and opposition politics.

Interesting

All the important people wear a red mask and the plebs wear a white one

The Lawyers must be clapping their hands. Shame all that money could have been spent on more worthwhile projects?

Portsmouth, UK

A 15-year-old girl dies on the day she was due for the vaccine in UK

Jorja was struggling to eat on Sunday and by Monday she could not eat at all because of her throat was hurting so much.  A doctor prescribed antibiotics, but Jorja’s condition worsened and her heart rate was double what it should have been and she was rushed to hospital.

Her mother, Tracey Halliday, 40, said  “I was with her the whole time. They tried to put her on a ventilator to give her body a chance to recover. Her heart rate didn’t stabilise. Her heart couldn’t take the strain. They worked as well as I think they could medically, but were unable to save her.”
