I couldn't work out how to place something in Q & A. I read about someone wanting an emergency aid for their elderly father as his relatives live interstate. An ordinary mobile phone can be helpful. List numbers in the directory under ICE (in case of emergency). I have both my daughters day, night & mobile numbers under ICE1 and ICE2 as they live locally, but if relatives aren't local, then a friend could be the first contact. I don't know how common this is, but it certainly makes sense.
