Ignore button

This subject has seemed to have taken over the "Preference votes are a con job" topic so maybe we should try and seperate it a bit.
My own opinion is although some posters seem to post a lot of waffle and vacuous topics it seems to give me some sort of perverse amusement (I almost said pleasure) to read them and to think that they seem happy to post them. One person seems to be the only person answering their own posts. For that reason I don't use the ignore button. Anyhow at my age I need all the laughs I can get.
As for the more serious topics I enjoy reading the other persons views. Sometime I disagree and often I reply stating why and getting their answer to my disagreement in return. If it gets abusive I reserve my right to be abusive in return. BUT no ignore button for me.

keandha, thanks for starting the new thread, we certainly were wandering "off topic". Your comments on the "ignore" button are certainly sensible and reasonable and I, for one, have no argument with them. You are doing what is "right for you", which is really all that any of us want.

Thanks Keith and good luck and best wishes mate ...........clay

Thanks Clay and Hugo. I have noticed in other Topics some one veers slightly off the subject and next thing you know everybody follows the false trail. To a "grumpy old man" like me its annoying.
