How wonderful to have such great mates

The "Pacer" IS taking a bit to get used to
and I am glad the week is over :)
but how wonderful technology is so fanastic.
I am sore and realise I have to take it easy for a
couple of weeks, a bit embarrassing setting off the
security alarms as I thought it was just a joke but nosireee
not for Phyl. Off they went lol.
..
Went out for just a tad of shopping today and wowee how good is
"My Chemist" I ask you.
We just spent $20 on Magnesium tabs. and $20 Vit. E caps.and we received
a Free wall clock (er maybe it will come in handy) lol and a sponge which
is always good to have an extra one :)
and for just 1c a lovely big tube of hand cream. I tell you life really IS
wonderful
All the very best

Just overjoyed today:-
..
Peter's Mum who has always lived on her own and cared for herself
broke her hip in January and in hospital for quite awhile and then in Rehab. but still
not walking so has gone into a very nice Nursing home and doing fine in Qld.
...
I think the reason I tripped and hurt myself was I had her on my mind
anyway we got a phone call telling us Mum only had hours to live and in Pallative care
and not getting her meds. or food :( SO we have not had a lot of sleep worrying about her
BUT what do you know "The antibiotics which were not working have kicked in and Mum
sat up and asked for food and a cup of tea and has not looked back.
..
Mum is out of Pallative Care and in her own bed again and really doing fantastic.
Not bad for a 99 year old who the staff had decided to "help to die painlessly"
Not this tough lovely Senior Citizen" and yes we do feel now after such a fright
we will see the telegram from the Queen.
..
Life really is grande.
Have a great day folks. Freezing here today but it is Winter.

Something good happens every day Phyl ,it's good to hear your mum in law is doing a little better.
You never know she may make it to 100 and get a card from the Queen.

Hugs Zapot thank you.
It has been a very difficult week with Mum about
to leave us one day but rallying. We have not had a lot of sleep and jump everytime the phone rings as Mum is in Qld. BUT today she has snapped out of it and had a drink
of cordial and talking non stop whereas our daughter saw her the day before yesterday and
she was given hours to pass. Mum did not know anyone and not even opening her eyes and very very cold but today. Wow exciting as she is not in pain and wants to stay
"wants" being the operative word and we want her to stay also.
Have a lovely day.

..
Today IS a good day
