how to work out timing in your microwave

You have a 700 watt microwave or maybe 800.

The recipe says cook for three minutes at 1000 watt.

You dont have a clue how to convert.

B4 somebody corrects me ... the word is Microwave and NOT Microvawe ??? Wonder what made me type that ?? Whilst I am correcting things .. it is meant to be wattage NOT watage.

:( My 1100W can superblast stuff if the conversions are not taken into account.

Abby, if a person knows what you mean I think it is bad manners to correct their spelling....so don't worry about it  LOL.

I make typos on many occasions myself ;)
