How to increase your chance of winning Powerball

Powerball's $100 million draw tomorrow night will see almost one in three Australians buy a ticket. So is there any way to increase your chances of winning?

According to Powerball, yes.

A tally of number frequencies since 19 April last year shows the number 32 being drawn 13 times, and the luckiets numbers that follow are 7, 9, 17, 24, 25, 29, 32 and 34, which have all been drawn 10 times or more.

The unluckiest numbers are one, three, six, eight, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 19, 21, 26 and 27.

Other ways to improve your chance of winning are to join a syndicate.

And one way to ensure you don't win is to buy a Quickpick.

Will you be buying a ticket for this week's draw? What would you do with $100m?

Whats the problem with a quickpick? I have one ticket with the same numbers I have used every week for 45 years, rarely won anything I also buy a 24 game quickpick every week and it comes up quite often with a small prize. Its a game of chance and as far as I can see a quickpick has as much chance of winning a prize as choosing your numbers .

Yes I will and I am going to buy Tasmania and fix it’s dire environment carnage from the filthy fish sewers to the dead Tamar River..,

Leon -  you may want to look up the odds of winning.  Incredible numbers.  The worst of all the chance games.

Better to flush you money down the toilet.  Forget about improving the odds.

Tell that to the lady who won $107Million

Duh !

Never had one nor any other   'ticket'     the last share I had in a lottery ticket was when I was at work and only went in this to be sociable

Mostly anyone who has won a large amount of money has had nothing but grief -- because they went stupid --with it wasted it and spent on rubbish and ended up with nothing --

Heath and contentment are the things that make you happy

"And one way to ensure you don't win is to buy a Quickpick." The lady who won it bought it online in a Quickpick! Shows all such articles are complete BS!
