How many ?
As you are all aware I have been doing research into the real numbers and statistics of pensioners in Australia.
During this process I have come across a stumbling block.
How many pensioners, both disabled and old age, depend entirely on Centrestink as their sole source of income.
Does anyone here know ?
or even just where the data can be gained.

I'm not sure if this will contain all the information you will require.
Australian Bureau of Statistics. Release 1301.0 Year Book Australia 2008. Section 9.11. etc.
I somehow feel that all aged pensioners - part or full payment may be included.
Further along in the document it seems they may have lumped together DVA and Disability pensioners too.
You may find it helpful just the same.
