House sitting

I live in WA and am thinking about doing some house-sitting in other states.  Has anyone done this and how did it work for you?

I wish we had an ignore button    this moron would be so easy to ignore

Drew please give us our ignore button

11am it is Phyl I'll be there.

I'll just walk as I live so close......look for a well dressed gentleman with two dogs.

How do I find you?..........a fat old lady with wrinkles maybe?????

Husband on chain????? Rolls Royce Silver Shadow on hire purchase????

Hey Tadpole ...........your Drew guy emailed me asking for me to come back and talk to you all again.

I really don't wish to converse with you worn out , ready for the nackers yard, wasters.

Is this a seniors forum or a kindergarten forum !

You know Davey your not doing yourself any favours by attacking one of the few real gentlemen on this site,Your attitude and written language is rude arrogant  quite cruel and totally unecessary.I hope Phyl does not waste her time going to actualy meet you as you would not know how to speak to a lady.Wobbly

If Phyl was to go anywhere near him she would recognize him by the stench.

I would like to return to the subject, 'House Sitting'

I find it disturbing when the subject keeps changing,

It is so hard to keep up with, I would NEVER change

the subject, Fwed might at times when bikes are not

available, Phyl has a habit of leading the femmes astray

with her shopping stories.

Now with the subject I would love to be involved in that

wonderful idea of house swapping.

I have a well fitted out shed available at a small fee.

Oh my goodness gracious you lot are a bit mean.

We all have to know Davey is a sandwich short of a picnic

and short on  the dollar. Please give him a break.

..

I wonder IF Davey actually gets out and about at all

and  thinks causing us to get our hackles up, is the ONLY fun

he has in life. Do we get our hackles up? nah we know

he is a joke but why would he believe we care what

HE says in reality?

..

Not coming down your way today Octo. as the road

is flooded over the bridge to Golden Beach and Loch Sport

flooded  all over the place so not the day for our friends

to look at properties. I telephoned a friend and apparently

no well dressed bloke walking two dogs but she sees a

bloke often but I will not even describe him as people

might laugh and that is unkind. Er Davey you are no youngster

so why bother telling everyone they are not. We are here because

this  is an over 50's site mate.

Be good

Phyl.

Gee the way a lot post here I thought it was a Kingergarten forum

You are right Jane and even morso in the "Politics Room" lol

I suppose all posts help people hold onto the brain cells

and does not really matter does it? I think we are all old enough

to let most go over our heads anyway. Funny how we read most posts

regardless we are fairly sure we will not like them just because of the

poster lol.

More fun than a barrel of monkeys. Life will go on regardless

Have a lovely (Wet in our case) Saturday.

..

I keep reading because I think that there MIGHT be a post of sense--however ther isn't

And, um, my question about House sitting?  Is anyone going to talk about that or just keep on thread jacking my original question?

Seth - your offer re the shed doesnt really fit in with what I had in mind but maybe someone will tak you up on it :)

Daisy.  How disappointing!! I feel totally rejected now.

I'M so depressed I may even watch Geelong get pulverised

by Collingwood.

Oh dear, Seth.......I'm so sorry that you feel rejected but seriously, it's only the shed that I rejected.  You shouldnt take it personally.

I dont know who to barrack for today as I'm a Carlton supporter but I do like to watch a good game of footy anyway.  So.....today.....I'll go for Geelong.........:)

Sorry Daisy I will not hijack your thread after this  post.

Seth can we meet in "The Just For Fun room"?

Phyl I was intrigued by your invitation for a meeting in

the Fun Room, I'm sorry to reject that invitation,

as I am a gentle man,and not like that at all!!!!

What about the one called 'The Kindergarten'????

hello daisy.  i have done house-sitting a number of times.  main suggestion is that you have a written agreement with the house owner which you both sign and date, so that the conditions are quite clear, and that you leave a home in the condition in which you found it on the agreed date.

these websites have plenty of information:

http://www.aussiehousesitters.com.au/

http://www.housesittersaustralia.com.au/

best of luck!

Thanks Kika - will check those site out......
