Having set aside the general discussion area for the trivial kind of posts such as mine, I have noticed that the Hot Topics area is still being used for non-political posts, which I thought was a no-no, so I am confused.



Miss Jacinta, I have the impression that *[b]Hot Topics[/b]* is for more serious comment in general, not just political.



*[b]General[/b]* appears to be for more light hearted discussion.

So "no-tie shoelaces" is a serious comment then? I was ticked off for speaking about health and fitness on Hot Topics as it was apparently trivial; now I see topics there that are hardly world-shattering. Perhaps the word has not got around?

Yes I saw that. There's always someone who will criticise others no matter what....one of the reasons I don't post much now.

Not to worry. Maybe you're right, and people haven't caught on yet.

Certainly there was no intended criticism of you on my part...I was merely giving my take on how I see the new setup.

That's ok PlanB - it's just that, having been rapped on the knuckles and told that my posts were trivial and did not deserve to be in Hot Topics, I felt a bit peeved.
