Have your smartphone apps been spying on you?
Well not anymore!
In the latest Android 12 update, Google has added a new feature that will tell you when your microphone or camera has been activated when using an app.
The new indicator will appear in the top-right-hand-side of the screen with a symbol related to the item being accessed by the app, be it a microphone or camera.
Furthermore, Google added in a log of which apps have access to your camera, microphone or location.
For Apple users, similar warnings already exist on the iPhone.

I have a Huawei phone so no doubt the Chinese are listening in - good luck to them if they find my conversations of interest or importance ????
