Has to make us think and pass onto our families,
even if we are deemed "know it alls"
..
On tele. this morning - when people borrow just $2,000 for Christmas Presents and pay only the minimum payment, in 25 years they will still be paying on that loan. Consider this, year after year and it is a monstrous amount.
..
Christmas is a lovely time but people do have to put into perspective amounts of money can be spent, and save all year in small amounts and then divide the amount for everyone to receive something and conquer surely.
Anyone who had to borrow money for Christmas presents, only in my opinion of course, is very silly. Is it their immediate family receiving such presents? We would never ever have done that. If, looking ahead, we couldn't buy it outright, we would save up but surely if this is the case, are the family worth it and would they appreciate it? Christmas as we all should know, is supposed not to be about the cost of a present but I think many have forgotten that. Giving an expensive present every year makes me wonder what they do for the next Christmas or birthday. I don't want anything except a hug from the heart. And where can I buy one? Seggie.
