Has anybody used. - Light N Easy. -?

Hi everybody - talking with a friend and they swear by Light n Easy so i wonder what your opinion is?

I am a type 2 diabetic and wonder if they cater for people with that.

Would appreciate your opinions. As pensioners we are doing pretty well but things that would save my wife some work would be good.

Kindest regards,

Peter

All valuable information - found out that most Light n Easy meals are around 50gms per meal not per day

our instructions are that we need around 20gm carbs per day not per meal

One of my cousins did Lite and Easy, her wallet definately got lighter, it was a high carb, starvation diet. You would be better off using your money to buy good quality food such as meat, fish, eggs, cheese, dairy, fresh vegetables, some fruit and nuts. If you are diabetic you would be better off with https://www.dietdoctor.com/

Yes that's what we discovered the diet is loaded with carbs that diabetics need less of but there are manufacturers that do specialise in low carb foods and we have ordered a test run - let you know how it goes

another important consideration that no body talks about is refrigerated space needed because most couples must order at least five days meals each

kind regards

Hi ,I have tried Lite and easy a few years back and too many carbs in general.

I am Type 2 Diabetic, and tend to eat the Keto diet. I am also on 2 tablets, but I am 82years young.

I modify my diet to suit my need and I tend to have a Hypo every few months but thats me.

My husband and I have a basic Breakfast, a very light Lunch and a proper Dinner/Tea.

This cuts out a great deal of effort for us both, and is very light on the pocket.

Our family often shop for us especially meat, (usually Chicken Snitsle small pieces) Air Fry of course!) and cook mini quiche, zucchini slice and we freeze them.

We buy in several Chinese meals I can eat monthly, and find they do us 2 meals or more each.

We do buy grilled Fish and Chips once a month. We also get mixed Sushi and steamed Dim Sims we have for lunches.   Omelletes, Baked Beans, eggs any way at all.

Lots of vegetables cooked in microwave, (can be bought frozen), and fresh fruit for Dessert plus Yoghurt.

So I manage living on this quite well and I maintain my above average weight nicely thank you!

I hope this is of some help. Jan

Thanks very much Jan your just my age

have found The Diabetic Kitchen to be good - bought a few as a sample and they are very good and no refrigeration necessary

kindest regards
