Happy Birthday and may you have many more to come

Be warned - the evil fraudelent seth will tell you his birthday is on the first of every month just to get presents.

shame, shame, shame

If by some remote chance it is seth's birthday (tho I doubt it) Happy Birthday Seth :)

I apologise for being slow in reply but as you all know there has been

a misunderstanding in my home leading to my very careful choice

of words when discussing children..

I'd like to give thanks to you all for all your good wishes for today,

I 'm sorry about all the invitations but I never knew where to hold

the party seeing as I was only allowed back in the house for a

short time, But I will send some cake to you all, it is left over from

the big wedding and I know fwed and Zapot will love it seeing as it

is free, Living in a shed has been OK as I still have some goodies

from the doggy bag, that the bride was only too pleased to give me,

I must go know before I'm discovered in the study, so please try

and type softly, thankyou.

Poor fwed, I feel for you.....it must be sooooo cold in that shed. Mrs seth must be really enjoying the peace and quiet while you are in the 'dog house'. Hope you had a great day anyway fwed.

Were those terrible two in the shed together?

Not much punishment for misdemeaner there then as they

had each other for company and a doggie bag.

..

Goodness knows what conivering and planning

went on. I think we should go collect Mrs. Seth and go shopping :)

..

We are stll waiting for the washing machine fixer to come look at our

machine as it will not pump out, so we are emptying it with difficulty.

..

Might just go to Aldi and buy the 7.5. front loader for just $500

if he does not phone today but finding a stand ($350 at Harvey Norman)_

I would not pay and then another $50 delivery from anywhere so hope we can

get ours fixed for under $150 - there is always something :(

Phyl, our washing machine has carked it as well, it needed a good clean out and the screw to hold the agitator in wouldn't come out so Hubby gave an extra push and wammo it came, sheared the bolt LOL so now no washing machine at all, waiting for the machine mechanic to come to fix it (if he can). You should haggle to get the delivery included in the price :) Don't ask, don't get.....we always ask if there is a better price and usually get it, except one day we went to our local Retravision store over here and bought a HD usb cord for the new tv, because it was such a small item I didn't bother asking, when we got to the checkout he deducted 10% discount, I've been back there needless to say.

Like you Deanna I am pretty good at haggling. I do not think

you can haggle at Aldi :) but never having bought anything

big there anything is possible:) The bloke came a couple of hours ago

and it was a rusty nail caught in the pump (looked like it had been

there a long long time) Our machine is working great again now

and it cost just $70 which we were satisfied with (still a lot $50 call out

and $20 to get the nail out as no parts required) but he could have

charged $150 which was our cut off before buying a new machine.

..

The bloke said not to buy an o'seas machine as they were soldered

in the parts this Hoover of ours is clipped, so almost

unrepairable and in fact only made to last less than two years and not

to ever buy a Maytag especially and not the Aldi one. Anyway who knows

he could be talking rubbish lol.

Glad to have the machine back working fine anyway for not too many $$$.

..

Hope yours gets fixed at a reasonable cost also Deanna.

psst before Seth blames me for going off topic Cheeky thing as if I would or do

Happy Birthday again Seth. :)

All the best

Phyl.

Phyl, what a shock you gave me when I saw the word 'Rusty'

I thought it was 'Dusty"How did she get in there,I thought.

Of course tadpole has been missing for awhile,

probably learning chess with obama bin laden, when she

beat him, he exploded.

Try 'Appliances on line' I got a good price for a new stove

plus free delivery.

Isn't tadpole having a good time with her genealogy site, she said earlier that she had three months to do the searching she wanted to do. With the cost of membership on those sites you really need to be at them 24hrs a day to get your money's worth out of the. LOL

Phyl, glad you have your washing machine fixed, good price too. We haven't been able to contact our guy yet but will wait and see, (hope not too long, I don't like leaving dirty clothes around for long) Thanks for the info on the other makes. I have a big Hoover, have had it over 10 years now, it was still going good except I wanted to clean out under the agitator. Silly me...

seth, hope you had a good day yesterday, where's our cake??????? Is that staying on topic???????????

Fortunately Deanna you just managed a bit of on topic - unlike Phyl who digresses to Aldi and nails.

I hope you had a pleasant birthday Seth - did you find any nails in your washing machine , or just concrete.

Nah neither seth, I found a broken bolt after Hubby used a bit tooooo much strength. :)

Fwed is such a rude lump to me.... >:(

...

Deanna ours is the big top loader Hoover and almost 10 years

old also. Ours does not have a filter and I am always annoyed about

that, but we bought this one when we already had a not too old Simpson

which I was not happy with as it did not wash all that well I felt, so we sold that one

to someone loves Simpson. :)

..

Does yours have a filter?

..

Hope the whole year is a fun year not just your birthday Seth :)
