guidance needed on my toenails

G'day everybody - here I am again looking for advise again.

Have just discovered that my legs have grown longer and I cannot reach my feet to cut my toenails.

Seemed just yesterday that i could nip them off with my teeth but that is out of the question now.

Have never been to a peditarist and wonder just how to go about it.

Called in to a practice and the girl asked if I had a letter from my Doctor and when I said that I had  health insurance she said that if I used that i could not use Medicare.

As i hurried out the door she said i should get a letter from my doctor - do i need a referal to get my toenails cut?

I will try again to reach my toes as i am not taller so my arms might have shrunk anyway I would value your guidance

Have a nice day

regards

peter

Thanks Robi. Viv. and Pete.

If any person dies from reading my type written words please come back and haunt me to show me how powerful my text can be in the brains of pensioners.

Hey Pete - what have I done to upset you and your little "cyber" friends this time???  If you care to scroll back - my " lol " comment was in reply to KUBIAI - OK?  So get your facts straight !!

Foxy you will have to take over because I am off up bush again tomrrow for a few days.

Foxy .......Peat the Irish bog man will keep you entertained

oh well who cares anyways - he comes online (like a couple of others...) writes his total BS and "attacks" people (with an often very wrong opinion) and then disappears back into his fantasy "cyberland" with his "sucky whimpy" cyber "friends" ! lol lol ..beats me???  as the Shaggy Dog would say - Take it Easy -   :-)

HI PETE,    i believe you came on here about your toes,    yes, your doctor can give you a letter to take to the podiatrist and will cost you nothing [or very little ]     every so often the govt, hands out money to doctors to give patients care they would normally have to pay for,    a podiatrist can be quite expensive,  depends where you go,    in my area,   some months ago,  money was given to doctors to recommend chiropracters for people, as they are not normally covered by medicare,    i know a few who took this offer up and paid nothing,    it seems this scheme is in your area now,   take it up while you can,  you will save a fortune,     good luck,
