Great Apps for budgeting and forecasting

I want one - I can't find one. Ideally to manage expenses, savings/debt etc but with nice (hopefully graphic) tools for setting up a plan, and living to it.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Doesn't have to be a "free" App.

Build your own. Use Excel

Lucas,

my bank has a great tool that I have used for years. I assume other banks have similar.

NAB has what they call Money Tracker and it uses all your transactions from Online Banking. You can see what you have underspent or over spent every day basically.

I have created my budget limits for every category eg mortgage, groceries, dining out, pet expenses, utilities.

It's really helpful and you don't have to create anything in Excell and then input all your transactions manuall.

Good luck

Try some of those on the link above.

I use Pocketbook. A great app for budgetting and keeping track of your finances. Allows you to keep track of all bank accounts and credit cards and is pretty user friendly. Can customize categories to suit.

Don’t you have to link this app with your bank? Is that safe?

Yes like Mint, it's linked to your bank account. Personally I don't think it's safe.

I agree with you, in my opinion, I do not think it is safe....there are too many hackers out there.

Yes all your accounts are linked to the app but I am prepared to take the risk. At present everything works exceedingly well. I can check my current financial position in an instant.
