Good Afternoon

Well, the sun is shining - it is beginning to creep onto my back verandah. I still hang out the washing and wonder if it will dry during the daylight hours. Don't you just hate it if you have to bring it in, then hang it out the next day? Just so it will be dry? Can't leave it out - ends up wetter than if you just took it out of the washing machine.

Yes Bev, it is also a lovely day here......my wife and I tried our hand at fishing this morning, but we couldnt catch a cold in a snowstorm. I fell we only have a month or so of cold weather left, then for us, at least, its time to hit the garden again. Even with a small backyard, we find we can at least minimise our outlay on vegies.

Makes you feel alive doesnt it? We have a family of kangaroos out the back by the clothes line,& Mum has just let her joey out for a run,all arms & legs everywhere. When they are young they are inclined to bounce on the one spot until they get the hang of things. At first sign of danger they then hurl themselves into the pouch. Always amazes me how they fit in. Up here in the sunshine the mornings are cold ,but the days are magic. Soon be Spring !!

Spring and Autumn sunshine is a sheer delight but to get this lovely weather in Winter

is a real bonus and costs nothing.

I moved our pillows down to the other end of the bed when I changed our sheets this

morn. and put holiday things around - Peter has not seen this yet but nice bloke that

he is will accept my ideocyncracy of feeling like we are on holiday but not spending

any money (wink)

Oh well I yam what I yam.

Phyl. the dill.
