Free Insulation

Just found out that the free insulation is available to renters, so thought I'd enquire about it. However, it is not available to those who rent in Public Housing. Went to the State Government site and found that they will be rolling it out ---veeerrrryy slowly. In NSW, they've started in the very cold areas of Dubbo/ Orange. Maybe, some time in the future, I may benefit, but it is NSW State Government, so I'm not holding my breath.

Why not public housing - doesn't seem logical to me. Have they given a reason for that? Practice what you preach should be the rule, and if it is considered a requirement for renters, why discriminate? Sounds crazy to me - but then you are talking about the NSW government!!.

Never mind very soon you will have the opportunity to vote them out.

Lets see if this happens!

I reckon like WA all states will turn to alternative governments this time around - 10 years or so of inept governance must peeve even the most devoted of followers of the political 'footy' game. rofl.....

Then you will get Liberals who will manage the money and pay off the huge debts whilst bringing things up to date and the state running hunky dory until they get voted out and Labor gets back in to start the circus all over again.

How to I know - history repeats itself and if we never learn from it - it just goes on repeating.............and we seem to be slow learners these days or apathetic or too busy to care or too stupid to notice or all of the above.

For goodness sake lets break the cycle - we nearly did with One Nation but they called it a racist party - I thought it was a good start myself.

Housing NSW is strange. I've had an electrician here 3 times in 3 months. Just checking that my smoke alarm is working. However, my neighbour has not seen an electrician in 2 years!
