Freddie Mercury vs David Bowie: who had a better voice?
I've found a sound bite of Queen's Freddie Mercury and David Bowie (not from Queen, obviously) singing their hit Under Pressure in the recording studio. The beauty of this clip is that there is no music. That's right – an a-capella version of Under Pressure.
Now, I'm interested in who you think has the better voice. It's amazing how much music adds to a voice, but when it's stripped back to vocals only, you can really hear who's the superior singer. But who do you think it is? I'm not going to give away my answer just yet, I'd really love to see what you think.
Who gets your vote?
Freddie Mercury had a better voice IMO, but I like the theatre aspect of Bowie. Liked them both.
