Filthy Chefs !!!

I was shocked last night --I was flicking channels--and that Gordon Ramsey--was using his bare hands to arrange food--and then he spat on a tea towel and wiped the plate--and he has the hide to tell others that they are unclean --I wouldn't be eating in his place--plus if they served me up that small amount of food I would ask where the rest was.

He's a star, you know so he can do or say anything. (sarc) They've even named a show after his favorite word, and made that trendy too.

And by the way the food was cooked--and he was touching it with his bare hands-----after he has just scratched his head--yuk

I agree PlanB. All those trendy pretty plates with a little bit of food piled in the middle and looking very decorative. They use their fingers to place everything on the plate. YUK!!!!!!

Give me the bistro meal where food is served up spread over the plate and they use big spoons to serve it out.

Much cheaper and more basic food. Love it!!!

Yes I would be asking where the rest was--I like a GOOD meal--

You only have to work in a restaurant/cafe once. Then you know. Never eat food, unless it has been prepared by yourself, or a trusted friend. I know that I wouldn't eat out at the "latest" and most trendy cafe in town - I've seen what goes on "behind closed doors"

Yes I am sure you are right there Bev---when it comes down to it I bet the likes of Maca's are maybe the cleanest ?

Only this week Macdonald's at Warnervale were fined $600.00 for allowing rats in their food preparation area.

Yuk---maybe not the best then--I guess better to eat at home

Our local Pizza hut closed down - nobody went there after they saw the cockroaches running around the counters.

Some years ago a Chinese Restaurant that my then wife and I used to frequent was exposed in the local (Messenger) Press for keeping CATS in their freezer for their own consumption!!

Guess who never went back?

Yes cats and dogs are often eaten by these asian races--I find it quite discusting--and I wonder if it was JUST for their own use ???

When I was still working some of my workmates would buy their lunch from a snack bar across the road. One was eating his dim-sim, got something in his mouth he couldn't chew and it turned out to be a used and dirty band-aid. I always took my own lunch, especially after that.

I see a lot of knocking against the 'foreign' foods in this thread - try discovering how your sausages and rissoles are made and under what level of hygiene.

Once you see what actually goes in to these Australian delights, you will think 'wog food' is supreme nectar. At least you can see or taste what is in most Asian food.

Not knocking foreign foods Club 25, just relating a personal experience. Any manufactured food is liable to contamination due to human or mechanical reasons or faults. By the way, I think dim-sims are an Australian "invention".
