Just opened up this pic on my computer, did copy and pasted directly into YLC post box and it worked. Have tried it before and failed ... but OK today.

RnR the same as any photo in your pc?

Celia did you see my message to you on the last page (page 5)

Just tried with one of my own garden photos. That seems to work too.

That is a lovely creeper, from your garden RnR?

Thanks for trying to help.

It's pink feathery bush out the front called Loropetalum Plum Gorgeous (Chinese Fringe Flower).

It really looks lovely RnR.  I have not heard of it before, what age would it be please?

About 10-12 years but always kept trimmed.

More info here

I've never seen that bloom before and it looks very healthy.

Thanks RnR it is a lovely plant, love the colour and size of it.

Wish I had known this plant when we put the garden in four years ago!  I am now thinking what plant can I remove!

The way I did it was cut the photo and put it into Word and then cut it out of Word and put it onto the site.

Around our garden

The Manager of a Garden Centre overhears one of his staff talking to a customer. "No, we haven't had any of that for ages, I don't know when we'll be getting any more."  The customer leaves and the Manager goes over to tell the worker off. "Never tell a customer we can't get something, whatever they want we can always get it on order and deliver it - Do you understand!!!!" "So what did he want"?  "Rain", replies the worker.

Mrs. Rich Bitch was having a fancy garden party and was trying to influence her rich friends. Two gardeners were in the background gardening, when suddenly one of them began prancing and pirouetting all over the place. "I'd pay good money to have that man come over and give my dance class some lessons". His friend yells out "They said they'll pay you an extra $100.00 if you stand on that rake again".

You would not believe this but I have tried to communicate that I laughed at this four times now Hola!

Oh good it went through, not sure what the problem was!

LOL thanks for the jokes Hola.

Here is one of our residents.

 Frog from our garden!

I'm glad it went through Celia, nothing like a big bell laugh to shake out all the cobwebs.

Our tree looked like this three weeks ago and suddenly lost leaves, I was just looking at it with the sun shining on it and new leaves have already started to shoot.

:) Pretty tree Celia.

I was out in the back garden this morning it was sunny splitting up the last of the Gerberas a bit late for this time of the years, but I will hope they will pull through, all sorts of colours.  Long as the snail don't have them for dinner tonight.  Then just now this afternoon and it is freezing out there I have come inside and had to put the heating on at 3.45pm.

Very pretty Celia.

:) Keep warm ... OK here but lots of rain.

I love Gerberas. The Orange one is unusual, I've never seen it before.

Thanks ladies, it is not the usual plant from Bunnings!  it is one of the specialty plants from the Gerbera Research Group I used to belong to a few years back they come in all sorts of colours.

They are growing in pots back then under a palm tree in our back garden.

I was going through an old gardening magazine and came across these funny sayings. .

GARDNER WANTED;    MUST LOOK GOOD BENDING OVER.

I'M SEXY AND I MOW IT.

WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU SH...T  GROW A GARDEN.

I DROPPED A BOTTLE OF TOMATO SAUCE AND IT CAUSED IMMENSE PAIN TO MA TOES.

Have a nice weekend everyone!

All aboard my Gerbera Train off to the show!

:) Very cute Gerbera Train Celia.

Is it the end of garlic breath? Scientists find a way to ramp up flavour of the super-strength onion - or create milder versions that are not so pungent

Researchers have unlocked the key to garlic's distinctive aroma. And that means they should be able to use their findings to produce super-strength varieties for the supermarket shelves.

I was watching a cooking show once and the French Chef said when you are cutting up Garlic cloves always take out the little green shoot in the middle of the clove as this is what makes the Garlic bitter during cooking.

I love garlic and the stronger the  better,   I say leave it alone
