Easy, cheap, and delicious pizza bases.....Just two ingredients.

Just two ingredients......
This recipe makes two medium sized pizza bases:
...............................................
2 cups self raising flour
natural yogurt keep adding
until right consistency................................................

Simply combine your two ingredients in a bowl and mix together until well combined. Turn out onto a floured board or surface. Knead together as usual, then divide into two equal parts. Roll out your pizza bases, add your chosen toppings and pop into the oven for 15 minutes at 220 degrees.

The results are so delicious. Simply use up whatever you have in the fridge to top your pizza and you've got a super cheap and filling meal.
.
I made two tonight and they were as good as any we have bought. We like
cheese and bacon but you can use anything.
All the best

Hi Phyl, I tried this yesterday & it was soooo easy.

I put Aldi Pasta sauce[ good old Aldi!!] on first ,then bacon, chopped mushrooms, & pineapple. Topped off with lashings of cheese & a touch of Mozzarello.

Yum.Yum, we should be on Masterchef!! Thanks for the recipe. :P

I agree Tweety as I thought surely yoghurt and flour will not make a pizza base

but I tried it and it is as you and Phyl said great. I made an apple pie with it also

so tonight we had that with ice cream and we are really happy because ordinary

pastry has too much fat for our health and the health of older people

so this is an innovation for us. I also say thanks for the recipe Phyl.

Glad it is working for you Tweety and Yaretzi :)

I am really excited as bought grain bread flour so made the pastry/pizza

mix up so how good is that? Many seniors can no longer

eat the fat in pastry so the yoghurt (not low fat one though) with good

self raising flour and easy to make pizzas and sausage rolls and pies by the

mountain. A real treat for us to be able to have - sure pretend pastry

but SO healthy as yoghurt is great and no need to eat as much bread.

All the best

Phyl.

Whenever Phyl's name appears in the recipe post, I am compelled

to discover what new delicacy she has come up with,

I noticed she has moved away black treacle scones to the more

delicious pizza's, Am now waiting and drooling for an invitation. seth.

Seth just let me know when you and Mrs. Seth are down here in

Latrobe Valley and the billy will be boiling and you can rest assured

I will serve you both really nice tucker good hey?

Phyl.

Phyl, never mind about the billy, you can't eat pizza and drink

at the same time, besides you can eat more, if you don't drink.

Hungry seth.
