I am leaving 25th June 2008 but can be flexible re my intinerary over the next 12 months overseas. Then I hope to follow this up with a long (time), slow round Australia trip. I am an experienced 4WD traveller in remote regions of Australia and generally love anything to do with being in the great outdoors.

I am not an AFL fan - - - more into various genres of history; ornithology; genealogy, maintaining my fitness (but not a gym junkie!), can enjoy all types of travel backpacking to five star and prefer Business Class for comfort on long-haul flights (7 hours or more). I usually travel light with minimum baggage to avoid wasting time in airports/queues etc.

Your integrity, honesty and reliability would be very important to me as these involve issues relating to trust. You need to have no ties or commitments that would preclude you from travelling the road less travelled! I am a morning person not a night owl i.e. 9am or 10am starts are generally too late in the day for most of the things I'm interested or likely to become involved in.
