Good to see you Peterseaford :)

I know Bob is from U.S.A. not sure of anyone else.

Sorry I am no help but must be SOME GREAT Barbeque......

I am sure you have looked into a distributor here of course.

Once again nice to see you. I hope someone comes in knows

the very Barbeque you are looking for.

Phyl.

Dear P hyl

great to hear from you.

The bbq is called a Volcano and the maker,or his sister,Donna only send by some outrageous company that quoted $350 for air freight door to door.

Normal USA post would be around $50 BUT they refuse to just post one to me. The BBq only costs $100 but they aare quite different - only about a foot around but they lift the fire off the ground and stop the grass from scorching.

they can be used in CV parks and enables cooking in a Dutch Oven.

i am sure some one would like to earn $50 just to pick it up ,, address it and pop it in the mail for me.

not much g unless someone lives in Boise.

there is no local agent here - a bloke in Queensland wanted to import a container load and they will not even answer his phone calls.

sounds odd to me but who cares - i just want to buy one - thats all

Sure hope you can get one then Peter and it does sound really good and I

agree not a lot of work for some kind person and some pocket money to boot.

That Barbeque sounds like a really good invention. Maybe you could get people interested

and you could order them by the many?

Please do not disappear again as the forum needs you.

We are rarely without your fantastic fruit cake.

Seth should make one for his wife and himself. I make it over and over and over

and even my Peter (whispers) who cannot cook very much at all :) can make

your easy peasy fruit cake and it always turns out delic.

Best fruit cake at the cheapest price to make and easy as.

BTW still only see red savaloys never white ones:)

All the best

Phyl.

if ony i could get i Phyl - just 1.

Their Sales Manager and boss cocky is Donna - i have offered her everything except my body and she will not put one in the post for me.

when i was in sales i would have delivered it by hand so to say.

love and regards

peter

sure you will never see a white one

around here you are lucky to see a white anything.

I live more than a day south of Idaho and further depending on which part of Idaho you are speaking of. It is a tall state.

I did a Google and did not find any Volcano barbecue cooker/stove. I did find this link though and it may help you a bit.

A suggestion would be to take a image of what you are talking of to a metal worker and see if they can make something similar. Find the right person and maybe it can be made into a local product for sale too.

.

G.d ay Bob - think this place is in Boise and i have been speaking to

donna@happycamper.com

The bbq folds down to about 5" high.

Not sure where you are Bob or where Donna is - I presumed Boise the capital city for some.

She will sell if i have a local who will pick it up and give it to the post office for me.

It sounds amazing Peter.

I bet Bob will know someone who might be able to pick it up

and post it to you.

Maybe Donna will wake up tomorrow and think she will help this

Aussie and decide to post one to you. Maybe if we all

think on it we can get into her mind to change it.

Peter ...........this sounds like a scam where the supplier requires money up front before they do any thing and in this case before they will send you the item that you want ..................be careful ............be very careful and as Bob says ..........surely there must be a local product that will do a good job for you ............clay

Unfortunately I live 687 miles away from Boise. That is two days driving for me. Approximately 12 hours drive time with mostly lonely desert or rural areas to cross. And the worst part is that I only knew of one person in Idaho who lived some distance from Boise. He died two years ago. So I really won't be much help.

.

Well Phyl - maybe pigs will fly.

Clay its not a scam and thanks for your concern - the fact is they will not sell it to me.

no question of wanting the money etc etc - they just will not sell.

Bob

thanks very much - that is exactly why i asked if we had anybody in Boise - you responded and you are not within a bulls roar of Boise. But thanks again.

regards

peter
