An Aussie Facebook user has shared a clever trick she uses to get her clothes dry in no time.

The hack is intended for people who often dry their clothes hanging on a rack in front of the heater.

Once you’ve hung your laundry on the rack and placed it a safe distance from the heater, hang a larger piece of clothing on the far side of the clothes rack, the opposite side to the heater.

Blocking off one side of your clothes rack in this way effectively blocks the hot air and keeps it circulating around your wet clothes, drying them in half the time. It also uses far less electricity than a clothes dryer.

“The heat doesn’t blow through as quickly, so the clothes dry faster and you stay warm without guilt!” the user said.
