Read with interest the comments about cheap, but apparently insufficient capacity computers.
Recently needed a new laptop, and a friend told be to go to Greysonline - an auction house, with a virtual Alladins cave of goodies at ridiculous prices. I bought a Dell laptop with a 1.8Ghz processor, 55GB HHD, .99Gb RAM, XPpro, and to that I added the clone of Microsoft Office "OpenOffice.org 2.4" - all in all $489, incl delivery !
This little beauty is so good that it inspired me to buy a desktop unit from the same source, - a Compaq Tower, with a 3Ghz processor + + $550 !.
I have found the internet is FULL of deals like this, from toothpaste to cornflakes, . . . send a note if you want to know how.
