Australia’s ‘Supermarket of the Year’ announced

The results are in for the Supermarket of the Year, part of Roy Morgan’s annual Customer Satisfaction Awards for 2021, celebrating the nation’s favourite brands of the last year.

Aldi has taken out top spot for the second year running, muscling out traditional heavyweights Coles and Woolworths.

The awards are determined by a survey of more than 60,000 Australians, which Roy Morgan says makes it the largest single-source survey in the world.

Representatives from Aldi say the award reflects the supermarket’s commitment to keeping prices low and customers satisfied.

“At a time when many are feeling the pinch, this recognition and acknowledgement only further cements the importance of our commitment and mission to continue to provide the highest quality products at the lowest prices in the market,” says Simon Padovani-Ginies, group director at ALDI Australia.

Are you an Aldi shopper? Do you think they deserve the accolades?

Love Aldi, have been shopping there for years. It does not take long to work out which products are great and now I rarely go to another supermarket. One tip - Stay away from the middle aisle if you really want to save money.  Although there are some good buys there as well.
