Australian state giving $50 accommodation vouchers to all adult residents

NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet today announced that a $50 voucher to spend on holiday accommodation will be given to every adult in the state.

The voucher program called "Stay and Rediscover' is aiming at giving people living in NSW the freedom to get out and about within the state, keeping holiday spending money within NSW.

“We’ve got some of the best tourism opportunities, the best hotels in the world, and you want people to go out support those businesses that have been doing it tough,” said Premier Perrottet.

This announcement follows on from last weeks announcement of two $25 Dine and Discover vouchers.

We'll certainly use it, it's a good idea to get people out and about as well as give a cash boost to areas visited.

It costs more than $50 just to walk out your front door these days let alone going on a holiday.
