This situation in our country has been in my mind for the last few weeks but I don't hear anyone making comment!
Now we read that Britain is in a pickle with no truck drivers and a lack of fuel in their stations for the public to fill up with.
Do you think this could happen to Australia?
Look at all the refineries that have been closed down from one state to another.
Today I can only think of one in NSW.
Here we are in WA thousands of kilometres from the closest refinery, what do you make if this management of our fuel?
How are we going to cope if there are no vessels to bring in the fuel?
That is a very good question and our storage reserves are well below the minimum with much of it stored in the U.S.. Figure that one out.
I guess the question should be put to the Government in Canberra as it is their responsibility. Perhaps that is another cause for concern based on recent history.
