Australia and the Flooding
What do YOU personally feel the Federal and State Governments need to do ASAP to sort the flooding situation out?
Do you feel that there has to be State or Federal Legislation to stop development of excisting areas being built upon?
Or do you feel that the Homes and even commercial buildings need to be built at a higher level before they are a commercial option.
Do you feel the existing flooded Commerical and Private homes need to be pulled down and reconstructed to a higher level?
Or do you feel that people living in those areas should move to higher ground with no help from the Federal Covernment?

The floods in these photos will continue for decades to come unless the people in the street do something about it themselves.

Shouldn't the Council have stopped this construction in a hollow like this and made it higher?
Do the Councils take on board the situation or just ignore it?
I think they ignore it personally.
This flooding should never have happened, it should have been built correctly.
