Anti Bacterial Hand Wash

If you buy the big decanterable (no such word probably) bottle  (er mine is from Aldi)  of the anti. bac. hand wash and if you have one or more of the more expensive foam ones in your "empty containers" cupboard you can fill the foam one to maybe a 1/4 and add  another 1/4 water and give a good shake and walla foam - good hey?

It can only be done with the foam one though as any other bottle comes out from the bottom but the foam comes from the top with the special lid. Hence foam.

o.k. o.k. burst my bubble and tell me you all knew this already lol.

BTW toothpaste cleans your jewelery up a treat.

Be good

thanks for the hint phyl.

i have an even cheaper method - fill an ordinary spray bottle with methylated spirits (can be half water if you want).  use this as an antiseptic spray for your hands, any open wound (it might sting), benchtops, toilet seat, cleaning mirrors, etc.

i add a few drops of lemon grass oil for a lovely fresh scent.

metho is apparently the most effective germ-killer and is still used in surgeries.

P.S. don't drink any!

I seem to recall a discussion on why our children, not mine, have so many allergies these days . One of the points raised is that we are too clean and are not exposing our children to bacteria and viruses when they are young . So that they may build up their immune system .

Hooray I got a reply........See something good does happen every day. If we wait for big things to happen we can be waiting awhile  :)  always nice little things do happen if we look for them or make them happen.

Good tip Kika.

I have heard that also Pete. Happy medium I guess.

I am guilty of being a bit of a  "clean feak"

I hear tonight that all this anti bacterial stuff doesn't work anyway, they are calling on the companies to prove their products work.....  I'm guilty of using it too especially when travelling in the bush...lol

Deanna

Down this way a bottle of antibacterial solution is at every doorway in our hospital - if it does not work it would seem like a senseless expenditure. But i use it evry time I am there.
