I found the photos of the cats above fascinating and unbelievable what mother nature does with the colours of these cats eyes! Not to mention their fur too.
The Meat Traders of Indonesia.
How disgusting.
Fifty-three dogs (pictured) have been saved from being turned into dog meat after police and animal campaigners intercepted a meat trader's truck in Sukoharjo, Java - just as they arrived at a slaughterhouse. The terrified dogs, mostly stolen pets with some still wearing collars, were found tied in sacks and their muzzles bound tightly with string and cable ties after enduring a gruelling 10 hour journey. The truck was stopped by police in the early hours of Wednesday morning just as it arrived at an illegal dog meat slaughterhouse where 30 dogs are bludgeoned to death every day and the driver was arrested on suspicion of being a dog meat trader. Campaigners from Dog Meat Free Indonesia coalition found the dogs tied up in hessian sacks and most of the canines were emaciated, and less than one year of age. One dog died during the 10 hour journey. Lola Webber, who was one of the first campaigners at the scene, said she could hear the dogs whimpering inside the truck as she approached.

So sad to see these poor dogs.
World's most dangerous bird stuns Aussie carpenter after strolling into his shed - and the bird known as 'Romper Stomper' often stops by the local pub
Tony Fleming (left) had been working on timber furniture when a Cassowary (right) walked into his shed at Julatten, north Queensland. 'Over a period of a year or so the Cassowary would wander around my property, chewing up plums and whatever it feeds on,' he said. 'Then one day it just meandered into my shed.' Cassowaries are considered to be the deadliest bird in the world despite their extremely shy nature.
Wow !!! Quite amazing for these normally reclusive birds.
