Am I doing o.k.

Hi everyone,
Have I managed to answere the messages the right way?
It appears to be getting very dark here its only 4.15p.m. so maybe Q.L.D. is going to get the expected storm from the north of Q.l.D. I live on a Island outside of Brisbane and the only thing we ever have to worry about here is high tides.Oh and mossies.
I will go and cook tea, dinner tonight is mince and veggies.
Yesterday when I shopped at woolies, the prices do seem to be getting dearer,I suppose thats because of the floods here a couple of days ago.
Regards to all
Kellie
Nearly forgot what does it mean by thread?at the end of this page.? and what does it mean by Add a poll to this topic?

You are doing fine Kellie.

I have found if about any general chatting I put it in General Discussion

more people seem to read it - just a thought but does not really matter

at all :)

If you read a thread and press fast reply at the bottom to reply it comes into

that thread and it is a continuation of that thread rather than a new topic :)

Always yell if we can help - I am no expert myself but if I can I will help lol.

.

Food has gone up in price here in Vic. also with the quality on a lot

of stuff not good at all. Your dinner sounds lovely.

.

Take care and please keep posting. You live in a fantastic place lucky you.

Phyl.

Hi kellie, nice to see another Queenslander here.

A thread is a group of posts on one topic.

This usually works well until, for example, the topic is about ships and people reply discussing ships until Phyl comes along and discusses molasses cake. Thay means Phyl as usual has gone off topic.

That means the topic about ships which degenerates into discussing molases cake is a thread.

If Phyl then wanted to have us vote on the quality of her molasses (ugh, arrk%#@) cake she would have a poll which someone may vote on.

Hope that helps

Ok. so it is pick on Phyl. Night is it?

ONLY because we are a bit worried about you tonight Fwed. I

will let this one pass me by, but when the cyclone has gone and you

are no longer in trouble "wammy"

Kellie, welcome to another Queenslander, I just want to

say fwed is ok, he has been through a lot, not only from'

a cyclone but like myself we get confused when phyl

goes off the topic, if you notice her answer to fwed is a

threatening one,

Enjoy yourself but don't take every thing too serious.. :-)

Loved all the replys again, cyclone over but not for the poor people up north,I have denoted some money to help, wish I could do more.

Sunny here again! good old qld, home of the broncos my favourite team, and the mighty maroons.

One of my sons had a birthday Yesterday thats makes him a aquarius, and a rabbit this year, and my 2 little grand-children came over for chocolate mud cake ( from woolies) they make them better then I do,I had a nice day, loved the cake but had to have manners and leave lots

for other family.

As this is the last month of summer,I can not wait for autumn,to a least sleep at night, even with the fan going all night its hot hot.!

My old printer went to the great beyond, printer heaven so had to buy another one this time

Epson stylus, not very dear under $70.00 will connect it up when I feel like it,to-day is about slow,

and reading the papers.

Does anyone else share this bit of news with me, in the month of february I have 5 family birthdays, then no more birthdays till april and other months of the year.

Hi All my new computer friends,

Thank you wobbly,I have been sick and the computer seem to be asleep, maybe its feeling the heat. to-day is better its a cool change.

Oh the awful pain of the earth quake in new zealand so terrible, my heart for those people,I wish

I could help every one of them.

Its o.k. that the australian gov,is sending teams of experts,as there is many months of work to

clean up the rubble.

What is happining to the world? floods, fire, earthquakes middle east tensions,.

To-day is the last of my family february birthdays,I have twins grandsons so thats the last of the chocolate mud cakes...hooray for my hips......

The heat has been unbearable here in sunny q.l.d,but today is a bit cooler, and last night I had a good night sleep.

Have choosen medium and brown for the font matting will it come out o.k.?

Washing machine calling and coffee,

Regards Kellie

Hi Kellie, I am also new to the forum, and a Queenslander too.

Lucky I wasn't badly affected by either the floods or cyclone but I am heartsick

for the Kiwis at the moment.

Hey, the coffee sounds good, but thank goodness you won't offer me

mudcake, my fat tummy certainlt doesn't need it.

Hope you feeling better, regards Cally

Hi Kellie, I thought you may have gone fishing or something. It has been a while since you posted , sorry you have been unwell, but glad to hear you are better now. I have twin grandaughters isnt it great, 2 for the price of 1 ,well maybe not , ours are 14 so very expensive at that age.but definatly double the fun. The weather here has been weird, sat rain and very cold, sun chop and change, rain one minute sunburn the next, mon hot, tues cold overcast and today realy hot, never know what to wear. Your mudcake sounds nice, Ilove mudcake but very rarely indulge as my cholesterol levels went up last year and I have been trying to get ot back to a reason able level. Now all your birthdays are finished for the year you will need an excuse to eat mudcake, nah! just enjoy lifes to short to worry. Wobbly.
