Allocated Pension - can it be rolled over to a different provider?

My partner has an allocated pension and is not happy with the level of service he receives & the lack of flexibility in changing his investment option.  Can he roll over his allocated pension to a different fund?

Yes but he should be running it himself

I would not be running a fund myself unless I had the expertise and was prepared to take on the responsibility.

If anything happens to your partner would you be capable of doing it when he is gone?  Question to ask yourself.

He is not interested in a self managed arrangement, just wanting to move to a pension fund where he has control over investment choices without having to pay review fees to an advisor.

If he wants control he should run his own..If he is smart enough to disagree with the investment choices of other people .. Make your own ..,

i agree with radish. beware of advice of peeps who dont know.

Yes take no notice of a investment advisors make your own decisions

I have my super with an industry super fund and have had for some time and more than happy with the way it is run.

Previously with the CBA...fees too high and left...wish I had done sooner.

Thank you, just the info I was seeking :)
