Adultery by Another Name...Sex Therapy

Does anyone have an opinion on this?
Made popular by Tiger Woods it seems it is now the latest gimmick in America.
Go cheat on your wife, have the time of your life you have a ready made excuse.
You go into Sex Therapy and all is forgiven.
My opinion..........Get real and take responsibility for your actions. Another poor excuse for unacceptable behaviour. What kind of society has the world come to now, spare the rod and spoil the child has really come home to roost.

Yes I agree seems any excuse for bad behaviour--every one seems to need "therapy" these days be it for drugs / sex/ drink/ and bad behaviour--like you say we all have choices, make the right ones or cop the consequences.

I can understand someone undergoing therapy for drug or drinking problems, as they are definite and diagnosable addictions. Sex addiction, on the other hand, seems to be a "crock" to me. The only sex addictions I would recognise as such would go hand in hand with psychosis or some other mental illness e.g., compulsive paedophiles, stalkers etc.

It seems obvious to me that people like Martin Sheen, Tiger Woods and Sandra Bullocks husband are merely looking for tools to get past the scandal and upheaval in their lives when they claim a sex "addiction".

If such an addiction were real and treatable, it seems to me that every pubescent boy who discovers "girlie" magazines and hand lotion would be locked up until they were in their mid twenties.

Woods had to buy all of women that he had sex with.

They were all white......them black fellas love a bit of white meat.
