I address these comments to the administrators of this site. You will have noticed the mounting anger and resentment toward the government for their lack of action to relieve the ever increasing financial burden that Australian seniors are suffering in just trying to get by each week. I am very mindful of the fact that this is a free site and you already provide us with a good range of benefits, discounts and activities and that you do so on a voluntary basis.

You have a website/magazine that has attracted a solid membership and so can speak with some authority on the wants/needs of older Australians. If you are not already offering feedback to government in some way, may I suggest that it would be a very beneficial activity on behalf of your members.

I realise that you may already be taxed in the time and resources you have available, but I and probably many others would be happy to volunteer time to assist. Please let us know your thoughts on this and any suggestions toward increasing pressure on our government and Parliament members to better the lot of our pensioners and welfare recipients.
