Absolute Chaos

I moved on the weekend. I have packing boxes everywhere. My son did the hard work, or did he? I've got the kitchen unpacked, the bedroom unpacked. But so many more to do! At least my dog has made friends with a puppy who is living next door - that's keeping her occupied. On top of all this, I have my car to be registered in the next few weeks. I certainly didn't time it all well. I will survive, maybe a bit exhausted, but I will do it. That is if I can fight my way to the front door. Moving isn't FUN!!

Yes Bev you do sound a bit stressed ...........If it were me I would take a couple of paces backwards ..........sigh a deep one ...........pour a couple of drinks and say ...........what does'nt get done today gets done sometime..........But then its easy for me to say

...

Hang in there mate it will be OK in the end .................. :-S

Sounds to me like you did the right thing first - kitchen and bed.

Rest can come gradually if you take it steady as you go. :)

Yes Bev--a big job ahead but try and do it as you feel up to it--I know unpacking and packing daunts me--have you seen your neighbours as yet.

Sounds like your moving went to plan Bev. and the biggest job and worries over.

You have all your stuff home safe and sound as is your girl and yourself so

take it slow and enjoy putting your possessions in the places you want. You now have the chance to get everything in the right drawers and cupboards etc. so when you eventually get unpacked you will be set. One box each day if you feel up for it, and by Christmas you will probably be finished but if not 2010 is going to be a great year.

All the best

Phyl.

Good luck in your new place Bev. Once you have settled in and made a few friends like the dog has, you will enjoy it.

Today is a good day to relax and unwind after all it's the first of December, the first day of summer and my birthday to boot.

So enjoy the day.

Well Happy Birthday to you Sandi--how it is a good one--as I wish you for the coming year

I've sorted the boxes into priority. They'll keep. Today, I went back to my volunteer job. I just had to get out of the house and mix with people again. I know that I have some neighbours with children, some without. Most have dogs. I may well not unpack completely, until after Christmas. I'm still going to take my holdiay with my son at his home. It certainly is a big job, but little bites at it will do wonders.

good luck in your new house bev,i hope you will be very happy there,i hope it's better positioned than the last and you don't get wet feet again, take your time getting things done bev, theres always tomorrow

Good luck Bev. hope you enjoy your new house and settle in and make lots of new friends,
