ABC’s Chris Uhlmann’s Trump takedown goes global

ABC journalist Chris Uhlmann is enjoying his 15 minutes of international fame after his report on the G20 meeting in Hamburg on Insiders gained global traction.

Uhlmann explained how US President Donald Trump had ceded the United States’ position as a global leader at the meeting handing the reins over to China and Russia.

The video has been doing the rounds on social media around the world, and has attracted millions of hits.

“He managed to isolate his nation, to confuse and alienate his allies and to diminish America – he will cede that power to China and Russia,” Uhlmann said in his report.

“Some will cheer the decline of America. But I think we’ll miss it when it’s gone.

“And that’s the biggest threat to the values of the West which he claims to hold so dear.

“There’s a tendency among some hopeful souls to confuse the speeches written for Trump with the thoughts of the man himself,” he said.

“But it’s the unscripted Trump that’s real: a man who barks out vile in a 140 characters, who wastes his precious days as President at war with western institutions like the judiciary, independent agencies and the free press.”

OK if we are going to run the nation on opinions,  mine is that everyone over the age of 65 today and not a millionaire has to be given enough to ensure that they are one.  OK ?

After all these are the people who have worked, paid income taxes all of their lives, no handouts for first homes or anything else. Paid for their own kids way as missed out on family allowances mainly.

Along with all the other handouts young ones take as a right. Whilst sneering at age pensioners and baby boomers. Because this has been a campaign of the left for blame. And still pensioners continue to vote left.

Chris Uhlmann is an idiot - a journalist letting his political bias and emotions get in the way of objective assessment and reporting.

No argued reasoning on which to base his views - just because you dislike Trump's personality doesnt mean he's an ineffective leader.

An effective leader gets the job done. Whether you like his style is irrelevant

Juvenile journalism from the left yet again

He's a snowflake, what else would one expect from such a person?
