a tip for 'waterhaters'

i am a person with diabetes mellitus 2 on oral medication plus lots

of migraines... a bachelor by choice but i hate to drink water...so

i make myself very concentrated teas with tea-bags like f.e.

rosehip/peppermint etc. i then fill the cordial like concentrate

into my fridge & use this like a normal but healthy cordial...

mixing it with cold water anytime i want a drink....much tastier

than boring water....all the best to all...try it sometimes...brigid

Do you sweeten it at all talofa? or el naturale?

Sounds a good idea and healthy to boot.

Good morning Phyl. & other waterhater....yes i sweeten these tea cordials with equal

stevia tabs when i make the glass to drink ....servus  brigid

"servus brigid"

Pagan or catholic?  Out of curiosity what do you mean?

Water is not drunk for enjoyment but to replenish fluids to avoid dehydration.

I enjoy beer / cider / wine / coffee / tea.

Nautilus & Davey.....why not drink water for hydrating but also enjoying it

SERVUS is an austrian word of greeting

servus.....brigid (atheist)

Thanks, ciao.

Geesh there are some fruit cakes on this forum.

I'm sure that Gabriel will later take great pleasure sorting though the nutters on here.

Even those who enjoy a beer or two ..............

Seggie.  Or Timtams.

You dag Seggie :0  BUT a nice one.

I just make up a jug of water with some ice cubes in it and the juice of 2 lemons AND if I am really feeling like chocolate but never have above 18,000 cals. a day I suck a lemon and pretend it IS a Tim Tam. lol.  Does this work? well it depends on how bad the choc. craving is and how strong I am feeling I suppose :) glad your hand is a lot better mam.

..

When I worked at a Figure Salon in Geelong we used to get the ladies trying to get weight off, to mix VERY thick skim milk powder with some sweetening powder and a few drops of chocolate essence and roll small spoonfulls in dessicated coconut and get them very cold in the fridge and walla, low calorie,  cheap and not too bad pretend chocolates :) People still have to be cautious not to eat the lot in one sitting though, albeit healthy and low calorie.

All the best

Phyl.
