A little hint

When I have to handle food (to make meat balls or biscuit mixture etc)  I usually wear plastic gloves but find the mixture sticks to them  and it is a pain.

Had a lightbull moment and sprayed my gloves with an oil spray and wow no more sticking.

Some may already know about this but for those who don't it may be useful.

Yes and you would have been very unpopular until the next ration appeared.

It's a wonder you didn't end up as Bunny stew.

Seggie. I have a vague recollection that my mother beat up butter with sugar and a dash of water until it went almost pure white then she added a couple of drops of vanilla essence (Rawleighs of course in those days). She also added sifted cocoa and would take out the centre of a patty cake, put some chocolate cream in and then the little bit of the cake on top and cover them with sifted icing sugar.  Anyone love butterfly cakes? I loved them, especially the bit of raspberry jelly.  I'll try to work up the energy to make some this week.

If you keep your clean hands wet with cold water it also stops sticking when moulding.

I thought you were going Pete/Robert

Ye gods and little fishes. Heads need to be knocked together.

$eth :)

If it is all above board how come the

do not explain why they were eavesdropping to your sweet nothings which so obviously were meant only for me ???

GD how can I convince you I was only being encourageing, trying to introduce new methods of cuisine preparation.

Those jam tarts may look enticing, nothing like my manly ones, no way would I present tarts like that {unless they had two legs} to gun happy troppos'.
