Bought a DVD recorder yesterday - just a cheapie from one of those discount stores. Spent all of yesterday afternoon trying to connect it and tune it. Went to bed last night, thinking I had finally "lost" it. Thought I'd have to pay for some-one to come and instal it and tune it in. After a restless night, tossing and turning, got up this morning and got the TV instruction manual, the DVD recorder manual and settled down to some serious concentration. Finally, after several hours, it all clicked and I got it right. I can time record, record one channel, while I watch another. Can even wipe the disc clean, so I can re-use it. Whew - I'm still as bright as the average 10 year old!
