A cuppa a day keeps the doctor away?

A cuppa can solve a lot of problems. But there's also volumes of research showing that drinking tea can boost your health.

Consider the study published in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology that involved more than 100,000 adults in China. It found that those who regularly drank tea were less likely to develop atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease or die prematurely from any cause - particularly stroke - compared to a control group.

The link was especially strong among those who drank tea at least three times a week.

With that in mind, we were interested to read about the offerings from Heart Therapeutics, an Australian business that specialises in herbal teas. Misha Moran, a qualified chef with a degree in health science and naturopathy, decided to create a range of organic teas that harness the medicinal power of plants.

Today, we're offering you the chance to win 30 gram packs of Misha's teas. Simply answer the following question and send it to newsletters@yourlifechoices.com.au by Friday 10 September: Name three types of herbal teas.

Ben aren't these teas from the USA?

No

I drink two cups of tea a day and have done for the last 15 years. One black and one green each day. After a heart by-pass some time ago a friend suggested drinking tea as he said it will help your heart. Now my Cardiology mate says my heart is looking GOOD!. So keep drinking teas of any sort.

Grow your own, so easy. I love Lemon Verbena, Lemon Myrtle, Spearmint and Peppermint.

I have a lemon tea tree in my garden, I planted it about 40 years ago, I know absolutely nothing about trees, are the leaves on this type of tree used to make lemon tea, or are there specific types of lemon tea trees, the leaves smell very lemony and there are also little hard buds on the tree that smell of lemons when you crush them.
